About The Playful Pooch Dogcare

We run dog day care in Lonsdale from 7am to 7pm on weekdays, with our play areas split into sections and staffed the whole time. Grooming runs Tuesday to Thursday. Every new dog starts with a free two hour come and try, and we can pick up and drop off within 10km.

Best day care down south. My dog LOVES it and I always feel at peace knowing the owner Angela and her team are highly trained and well educated in what they do. They make you feel like you are important and your dog is well known and loved even though there are so many dogs in attendance each day. We always get a report card letting us know how our girl behaved and what she got up to which is so cute, we really enjoy reading it. They go above and beyond with the activities and even got this cute card (pictured) one day! 10/10 would recommend to send your dog here. I’ve tried a few different dog cares in the past and this is by far the best one!

Our boy buddy absolutely loves day care! He knows as soon as we pull up where we are and he cannot get inside quick enough. It has helped us have a better behaved dog at home during the week and it has helped him with his social interaction. Buddy has so much fun and is always well looked after and welcomed with love every time

We have been going to Playful Pooch since 2022 and it's the best! Both dogs love visiting their furry and human friends. Angela, Julie and the team are so friendly and take very good care of our "kids". We love the Report Cards we get, letting us know of their adventures whilst at daycare. Highly recommend 👍

Fantastic experience for my pup Cooper. He is well looked after and always comes away having such a great day. All the team know the dogs individually and closely supervise them to ensure they have a safe fun time. Highly recommended!
