Here's why: Stripe Bank Feeds provide a single source of truth with no duplicate entries, one-way clean data flow, and the connection is maintained by Xero and Stripe (not Petboost). Setup: Connect Stripe to Xero in your Xero settings (Bank Accounts → Add Bank Account → Stripe). Every Stripe payout appears automatically. Your accountant categorises deposits as 'Sales Revenue'. Why doesn't Petboost have direct Xero integration?

Stripe Bank Feeds is actually the cleaner solution. Direct integrations often create duplicate entries, sync conflicts, and break when accounting software updates. With Bank Feeds: Petboost processes payments → Stripe deposits to your bank → Stripe syncs to Xero automatically. You get clean transaction data without the complexity. Your accountant will appreciate this: fewer reconciliation issues, clearer audit trail.

Similar to Xero, Petboost connects to QuickBooks indirectly via Stripe Bank Feeds. Set up the Stripe connection in QuickBooks, and your payment transactions will automatically sync. This approach provides cleaner data than most direct integrations.

Can I use PayPal for payments?

Petboost doesn't integrate directly with PayPal for processing, but you can track external PayPal payments manually. Record the payment as "External" in Petboost to keep your appointment records complete. Zero fees for tracking external payments.

Petboost doesn't have a direct Mailchimp integration, but our Marketing Ideas feature makes it easy to work alongside Mailchimp. You can export segmented customer lists directly from Petboost's Marketing Ideas tab and import them into Mailchimp. Petboost also provides 100+ campaign ideas with personalised email templates you can send from your own email client for smaller campaigns.

Can I connect my existing EFTPOS terminal?

Petboost only supports Stripe Terminal devices (WisePOS E, ~$400) for in-person card payments. You cannot connect existing bank EFTPOS terminals. However, payments via your existing terminal can be recorded as "External" for tracking purposes.

Petboost provides appointment management and scheduling within the platform. While there's no direct Google Calendar sync, staff receive appointment details via email notifications. Many businesses use Petboost as their primary scheduling system.

Add this link to your website's 'Book Now' button. Full widget embedding isn't currently available, but the booking page is fully branded with your logo and colours.

No. Petboost is NOT accounting software. We help you collect and catalogue payments exceptionally well using Stripe. Your accountant handles the accounting in Xero or QuickBooks. We give them clean data: export from Stripe or generate PDF invoices from Petboost.
