Mia's notes
Biscuit was an absolute star today. Ran the length of the beach twice, met two new friends at the rock pools and only tried to steal one sandwich. A quick rinse at the end and home tired and happy.
A birthday card on the birthday, Christmas at Christmas, a first sleepover, the season or the weather at the visit. Petboost picks the theme for each report card from the visit date, the service and the pet. Your notes and photos stay exactly as you wrote them.

Part of Report Cards. Themes are off until you turn them on in Settings, Card Themes.
A card sent on 3 January for a visit on 24 December is still a Christmas card. Each card gets a background for where the visit happened, picked from the service and the room: the grooming studio, the daycare yard, a hotel suite, the beach. On a special day an occasion sits on top. Petboost checks in this order and uses the first that fits.
Pin a theme to a date range under Campaign pins and it wins over everything else on those dates.
A birthday within 3 days either side, a first visit, a first sleepover, or the 5th, 10th, 25th, 50th or 100th visit.
Christmas, Easter, Halloween, New Year, Melbourne Cup and more, on the visit date, not the send date.
Diwali, Lunar New Year, Hanukkah, Eid, Matariki and the rest start unticked. Petboost never guesses.
International Dog Day for a dog, Cat Day for a cat, the breed day for that breed, when you turn Fun pet days on.
A light seasonal look for your climate zone, or the weather at the visit: hot, rainy, stormy, cold, windy or perfect.
The same occasion goes to the same owner at most once in 7 days, so a daycare regular is not sent five Halloween cards in a week. On 25 April and 11 November cards stay quiet: no confetti and muted colours. An incident report is always plain.
Each picture is the header the report card email opens with. Most themes apply on their own once their family is switched on. Cultural and civic days, and a few optional milestones, apply when you tick them, and State of Origin only when you pin it.

The theme sets the season. The house style sets the shape of your team’s notes. Choose one for every card, or Surprise me to rotate them. These are the same notes, drawn by the report card itself.

Change any theme, or all of them, with your own colours, a title font from Google Fonts and a body font for the notes. Petboost checks the contrast as you go and offers the nearest readable shade.
Smart suggestions shows the three themes that fit the visit best, and why. Or browse every theme on this pet’s card and select Use this theme.
The Key Dates Calendar shows the themes coming up beside the birthdays and vaccination expiries, and Suggested campaigns lists occasions worth pinning in the next 60 days.
Grooming
A Cavoodle’s birthday groom lands with a party card over the grooming studio, and a big makeover can go out as The glow-up.
Daycare
Halloween week in the daycare yard, but each regular gets it once, not five days running.
Boarding
A first sleepover in the hotel suite, a stay of 7 nights or more, and Holiday stay for the dogs with you over Christmas.
Walking
The beach or the parkland behind every walk card, and Kept cool today when it feels 35°C or hotter.
Training
The classroom for every lesson, and a graduation card on the last session of the course.
What a theme changes, who picks it and what the owner sees.
Turn on Auto and the birthdays, holidays and first sleepovers take care of themselves.
