The Papillon is a small, dainty toy dog with a flowing silky coat and no undercoat, which The Kennel Club says needs grooming more than once a week. It needs up to 30 minutes of exercise a day and no garden, so it suits flats and apartments. It is highly intelligent and does well in obedience and agility.
