A booking your team creates can land with the deposit still due. The appointment shows Deposit due and Take $X when they already have a card, or Send card request when they do not. Online self-serve still takes the deposit at booking, and a recurring series never takes one. On a course, a pet card reads Deposit Paid once it is in.
On a plan that bills a fixed weekday, you can start someone today even when today is not that weekday. The first payment, shown on the enrol screen, is the full week unless Pro-rate the first week is on for the plan, when it covers only the days until the next billing day. Their included benefits for that part-week are available in full either way, and every payment after that is the normal cycle price on the weekday. Collect first payment today on a future start is a full cycle, and a plan change is never prorated.
A membership plan can now count everyone over the same week while each member still pays from the day they joined. Pick Fixed benefit week, billed from their start date on the plan and choose the weekday. Nobody waits to join, a mid-week joiner gets the full allowance for the days that are left, and their first payment is a normal full cycle. It needs every capped benefit on the plan to refresh weekly, and it applies to people who join after you save.
Each night of a booked stay carries the rate it was booked at, so the calendar reads the same as the fee line on the invoice. A sibling pet sharing the stay keeps their own nights off this pet checkout.
Give a cancellation fee back to the customer who paid it. Refund Cancellation Fee sits beside Issue Refund on the appointment, asks you to confirm, and returns the full fee to the card it came off. The fee then drops out of your sales figures and the activity log records that it was charged and refunded. Fees you took in cash or by bank transfer are settled your own way, so they are not offered here.
Dates that carry a public holiday or weekday rate are marked in the picker on Regular and Stay bookings, and the rate shows in the running total while you choose. You can set a rate for a date range without leaving the booking you are in.
Public holiday, weekday and date-range rates apply to overnight stays, charged night by night: each night takes the rate for the date it starts, the checkout morning is never charged, and a stay across Christmas and Boxing Day carries exactly its two holiday nights as named lines. Day boarding takes the day rate. Pet owners see the rate on the date while they book, every amount is in the total before they confirm, and bookings made before a rate change keep their booked price.
Text the owner a secure add-card link straight from the appointment. Send SMS sits on the No card on file alert, and Send request SMS sits on the No card badge, so you can ask for a payment method while you are looking at the visit that needs one. The owner needs a mobile number on their profile.
Cap how many members a plan takes. Set the limit on the plan details, and once the plan is full it carries a full badge and stops taking enrolments, both on your booking site and when your team enrols someone. Leave the limit empty for a plan with no cap.
The members view carries what each member has redeemed and the fees they have paid to date, marks a plan that is waiting to activate, and surfaces credits sitting unused. Plans sharing a name carry a badge so you can tell them apart, and each billing cycle is listed once.
A failed payment carries the reason from the bank in plain English, on the appointment and in the customer wallet, with what to do about it. Insufficient funds, an expired card, a security code that did not match. Pet owners see the same reason written for them when they go to settle it.
Membership plans spell out what a member pays, the day their allowance refreshes and how many included uses are left, in the plan builder, on the benefit cards, in the redemption log and on the pet owner membership page.
While Petboost works out which benefits a member has, the form says Checking benefits, and where no benefit covers the booking it says Full price. You can read what a member is being charged before you save.
Charge a different rate on a public holiday or on a given weekday. Set it as a percentage or a flat amount, name it in your own words, choose which services it covers, and publish it on your showcase page. Each holiday can take the policy rate or its own. Pet owners see the rate on the date while they book, and the amount is in the total before they confirm.
Choose how you collect an outstanding cancellation fee: the card on file, a payment link sent by SMS, a bank transfer, cash, or another method you record yourself. The choice sits on the appointment, on the calendar and on the Mission Control attention card, and the fee is marked paid against the method you used.
A customer with a declined appointment charge or membership payment can settle it from their own wallet. Everything outstanding is listed in one place, they can add or replace the card on file, and each payment is retried where it sits with the result shown on screen.
A single control on the plan sets the day members are billed and the day their benefit allowance starts again, so you configure renewal and reset in one place.
Read the state of every membership from the list itself. Each member carries their pets and a ring per benefit showing how much of the allowance is left, and the list groups and sorts by plan, status, join date and renewal.
A monthly benefit resets when the member is billed, so the allowance follows their subscription period rather than the calendar. Someone who joined on the 20th gets their full month between the 20th and the 19th.
Charging a booking days before it happens now asks you to confirm, and tells you exactly how early it is. The check runs wherever a charge can start: the appointment itself, Mission Control, the quick menu and the bulk charge on the attention card.
Change a plan and rebuild its terms and conditions to match in one click. Regenerate reads the benefits, pricing and policies currently on the plan and writes the terms body from them, so the document a member agrees to always matches what you are selling.
Plans that are the same offer at different frequencies sit together as one card with the options inside it. This applies everywhere a customer or your team picks a plan: your public page, the enrolment dialog and the plans list.
A booking that used a membership benefit carries a redemption badge wherever package credits already show, so you can tell at a glance what a member has drawn down. Staff can also stamp a benefit onto a booking they have zeroed by hand, which records what the discount was for.
A deposit taken at booking appears as its own line in payment activity, and activity can be filtered by type. Customers see the same breakdown in their wallet, so the question of what was paid and when has an answer on screen.
Take money up front so a no-show costs you less. Set a default in Settings under Pricing & Payments: Pre-pay in Full charges the whole booking, or a partial deposit takes 5% to 95% or a fixed amount, with the balance collected after the service. Any service can override it or opt out. Refunds are automatic on a decline or an in-time cancellation, though banks take 5 to 10 business days to show them. Deposits apply to self-serve bookings outside a recurring series, and a customer needs a card on file to complete one.
Two sections you can add to your showcase page. Paste your Google Place ID under Settings, Branding and Reviews on Google carries your star rating and what people wrote. Add an Instagram section in the booking page editor and pin the posts you want people to see. Both rename, reorder and hide like any other section, and they appear once you fill them in.
Your opening hours sit beside your business name at the top of the booking form, with a badge reading Open, Closing soon or Closed. It reads your business timezone, so somebody booking from another state sees your hours rather than theirs.
Say the things people check before they hand over a dog. Add a short chip with an icon under Settings, Business Details, About, and it sits on your showcase page. Assign it to particular people instead and it lands on their team card, so a first-aid certificate or a breed specialism shows next to the person who holds it.
Design the button that sits on your website and copy the code for it, without asking anyone to write any. Choose the colour, how round the corners are and the font your site uses, watch it change as you go, then paste the snippet into your site. It sits in Settings and in the going-live tools. Book now opens your showcase page, and an Existing Clients button beside it opens your booking form.
Your listing page carries a Before you book panel with the things a customer checks first: whether a vaccination certificate is required, how much notice you need to change or cancel, whether a card is needed to book, instant confirmation, and any weight limits. Add your Google review link and your rating and review count show on the page. In the editor you can draft the About copy and pull photos straight out of appointments once you have confirmed you have permission to use them.
Put your Google Ads Conversion ID and label, your Meta Pixel ID and your Google Analytics Measurement ID on Settings under Branding, and a finished booking reports to your own advertising accounts as a conversion carrying the booking total and the appointment ID. Leave a field empty to keep that platform off. Google Ads needs both the ID and the label before it will fire.
Switch online booking off in Booking Settings and your listing page stays up as a shopfront: your description, your team, your badges, your photos, your opening hours and your contact details. Services, packages, courses, memberships, the price list and the booking buttons come off it. A confirmation spells out what a pet owner will see before you save.
Your booking page now has a short address you can read off a flyer: pbbook.now followed by your business name. Copy it from Settings under Quick Copy Links, then put it in a text or on a printed card, and it opens your showcase page. If you rename the business later, a link you have already printed still lands on you.
When a pet's birthday falls within a month either side of today, Generate Birthday Instagram Post appears on the pet profile, on the appointment and in Mission Control quick actions. It lays out a 9:16 story in your colours, logo and font with the pet's photo and name, ready to preview and save as a PNG.
Edit your showcase page with the page itself in front of you. Set your primary and secondary colours, your button colours and a showcase video, and choose which sections appear. The preview updates as you work, everything publishes together, and Petboost tells you when a section you are hiding is one that helps customers find you.
A pet owner can open a boarding stay they have already booked and move it themselves. The form opens on their current check in and check out, and the times they chose hold while they change the dates.
Choose your brand font by category, and Petboost warns you when a font will be hard to read at small sizes before you put it on your page.
Write the description that sits above your services on your showcase page, add badges for the things you want customers to notice, and post an announcement with an expiry date on it. The announcement runs as a ticker across the top of the page and a customer can dismiss it.
Every pet has a year in review built from the visits, notes, grooming and photos already on their record. Open it from the pet profile as a story you scroll, skinned in your brand colours, and export a keepsake PDF to give the owner. Pet owners can open their own from their pet page.
Generate a post on your phone and save it straight to your camera roll through the share sheet, in the browser and in the installed app, ready to put on Instagram from the same device.
Your forms preview as a working form you can type into, in the builder, on the form summary card, and inside the booking flow simulation. Fill it in the way a customer will and watch the questions and the required fields behave as they do live.
A customer who has already booked can open their appointment and add a nail trim or a teeth clean themselves. The extras on offer are your real add-on services, filtered to what applies to that pet, and the price breakdown updates in place. It applies to pending and confirmed bookings, and any discount already on the booking is kept.
Command-click or Control-click cards on the scheduler to build a selection, and Shift-click to take a whole range between two cards. A bar appears with Accept, Decline, Check in, Cancel and No-show, and each one applies to everything you picked. Keyboard shortcuts cover the rest of the diary: d, w, m and t for the views, full stop for today, the arrow keys for the next period, slash for search, a to create and question mark for the full list.
Add to Google Calendar on an appointment opens Google with the visit already written out: the pets, the service, the time and the owner. Handy when a groomer keeps a personal diary beside the roster. It is a one-off copy rather than a link between the two calendars, and the dialog says so, so a change made in Petboost afterwards does not follow it across.
Schedule a timed service during a stay as its own appointment, from your side or from the owner booking it themselves. It keeps its own time, its own staff member and its own price, and it shows on the stay so the whole visit reads in one place.
The tab you are on is part of the appointment address, so a link can open on Notes & Attachments, Messages, Packages or the Activity Log. Copy the address to send a colleague to the exact tab, and a refresh or a back tap lands on the tab you were reading.
Turn on Team Members and Resources together under Group By and the board shows a column for each person and each room, so you can see who is where without switching modes.
Add a ready-made set of booking rules from Recommended on Pet Attributes. Filter by the kind of work you do, pick the sets that match, and they land as real price, time and cap rules on those attributes. What you preview is what gets saved.
Price, time and cap adjustments from a pet attribute show as badges on the calendar, the invoice and Mission Control cards, so you can read the effect without opening the form.
Turn on Show Cancelled Events and choose whether cancelled recurring series come with it. Show Recurring puts the whole cancelled run on the calendar and marks the series a business ended, so you can read what was called off without leaving the schedule.
Give a pet attribute its own booking rules. Add a percentage or a fixed amount to the price, add or take away minutes, and cap how many pets carrying that attribute you take at once, set per team member or per resource. The appointment form shows the adjustment while you build the booking.
Creating a run of appointments in one go, choose whether every date takes the same start time or set a time on each date. The review step counts how many you have moved and how many appointments it is about to create.
Open a preview from Booking Settings to see the page a pet owner lands on while online booking is switched off. The setting reads Online Booking throughout, and its description spells out what customers can and cannot do while it is off.
A recurring series can take an alternative time on a date that is already busy, while holding the same day of the week. Switch Flexible times off to see only the series where every date lands on your exact time.
Pin a preferred start time when you check availability, or hand Petboost a From and To window to search inside. The pickers mark any time that falls outside your working hours, and results are ranked around the start you asked for.
Bulk create with Magic Availability Check off opens a review step listing every date at your chosen start time. Expand any date to give it a time of its own or leave it out, then create the lot in one pass.
A customer can take up to ten dates through the booking form in a single pass. The calendar turns multi select once the first date is picked, every extra date gets its own availability check and its own slot, and the Review step lays out each date with its price and timeline. Add-ons apply across all dates or are set date by date, and the deposit total covers the whole set before anything is confirmed.
Custom fields you have marked as required are now gathered while a customer books, not chased afterwards. Petboost works out what is missing from that pet and owner, asks for it in the booking flow, and will not let the booking finish until it has it. A field can only be made required if customers are allowed to edit it.
Open a pet attribute and choose the services it makes available and the services it rules out. The attributes page draws those as required and blocked badges, so a rule is readable without opening it. Course enrolment reads the same rules alongside capacity and attendance caps, and your team can override a block that an owner cannot.
Pick a date and the list includes everyone who has not booked since then, including people who have never had an appointment. Opted out starts off, so a tidy-up of imported clients is not blocked by Match both. Turn opted out on only when you want STOP replies in the same run.
The email telling you a client has completed a form links straight to that response, rather than to the list it sits in.
The date of birth badge reads in years, months and weeks, and opens to show the exact number of days. On a phone the pet tile carries gender and desexed beside it.
Pick a date on Customers and Pets and you get every pet owner who has not booked since then, including people who have never had an appointment, with their pets and the date they last came in. Add the ones who have replied STOP if you want those too, untick anyone you are keeping, and archive the rest in one run. It works through them steadily with a Stop button in reach, and you can bring any single customer back from their own profile.
A pending form shows whether it went by SMS or by email and which number or address it went to, so you know what to chase when a customer says they never got it.
Choose whether a custom pet attribute stays with your team or appears on the pet owner profile. Business Only is the default, and every custom attribute already on your book behaves as Business Only. Pet Owner & Business shows the badge to the owner on the pet profile. Care type is separate: a Business Only Major care badge still fills the special-care columns.
Owner, wallet, membership and appointment chips on the customers and pets list open the tab they refer to on the pet profile, so a tap on a membership chip lands you on memberships.
Where a filter leaves the pet list with nothing in it, the empty state offers to include archived records so you can widen the search in one tap.
Fields you have marked required for customers carry an amber hint on the staff pet and owner forms. Your team can see what a complete record looks like and still save a partial one while they are on the phone.
A pet carries its date of birth on the summary card beside its name, so the age is on screen the moment you open the profile.
The attributes you created for your business sit beside the Petboost ones in the customer filters. Pick any combination to narrow the list, and the selection stays in the URL so you can bookmark a view or send it to the team.
Find every active member, every lapsed one, or everybody on a particular plan from the customer list. The same filters carry into a bulk email, so you can write to one plan without exporting a list and rebuilding it by hand.
Petboost learns the normal visit rhythm for each pet and tells you who has slipped past it, split into 7 to 13 days overdue and 14 days or more. Overdue pets appear on the customers screen, can be filtered and exported, and are available as a segment for a bulk message, so a lapsing regular is something you notice rather than something you find out about later.
Notes on an appointment, and notes on a pet in a course lesson, now accept PDFs as well as images. A vet letter or a behaviour report can sit with the visit it belongs to instead of in an inbox.
A Stay service can charge by calendar day as well as by night or by period. Daily counts the day they arrive and the day they leave, so a Friday to Sunday stay is three days. Choose it on the service, and the booking form, the stay timeline and the invoice all count it the same way.
A service can list more than one thing that has to come first, and now you say how they combine. Has completed any opens the service as soon as the pet has done one of them, so a local assessment or a bus assessment can both lead to boarding. Has completed all holds it until every one is done. The wording follows what counts as met, so a booked-only rule reads Has booked any.
An override you have set on a pet can be changed or lifted from their profile rather than only added. Services that are taught as course lessons count towards a prerequisite too, so a puppy class that runs as a course satisfies a rule that asks for it.
Decide who can book by what a pet has actually done. Require a whole course to be finished rather than a single session, gate a service on library and custom attributes, and lift the history requirement for one pet from their own profile when you know they are ready. Staff-only badges stay on your side and their names never reach the owner booking page.
Choose Number of nights on a Stay service while you are creating it, and clear a fixed start time carried over from the Regular setup in the same form.
Drag your services, packages and membership plans into the order you want, and that order is the one customers read on your booking page and showcase. Open Sort & Group, choose Reorder, drag the list, then tap Done. Sort & Group also sorts your own staff list by Name, Price, Duration or Self-Service, saved in your browser. Custom service categories drag into place on Settings > Service Categories.
Build a booking link with services and add-ons already chosen, from the menu on the Services page. Pick the combination you want to promote, copy the link, and put it in an email, an Instagram bio or a Google listing. Customers open it with those options selected and pick their pet.
Roll a deposit policy across your catalogue in one pass instead of opening every service. Deposit policy is now a field in bulk service update and in copy settings, and it moves as a single unit, so the mode and its percentage or fixed amount always land together and no service is left holding half a policy.
Setup asks when you want to open. Tick Close the diary until go-live and every team member and resource carries a Closed until go-live block from today to that date, so an imported book cannot take a booking before you are ready. Your notifications and automations wait until you switch them on.
Both live in the Operations group in the main menu, beside the rest of the day-to-day setup, rather than under Settings & account.
On an organisation with more than one location, Billing shows appointment counts and benefit copy across the whole organisation, not only the site you are logged into.
Tell us what you are coming from and we do the move for you. The card sits on Account Setup: pick your current software, say roughly how many customers and pets you have, and send it.
The places you go every day stay in view. Your catalogue, your people and your setup sit under headings you can collapse, and Marketing and Sales gathers the hub, the Health Board and Social Studio in one group. A course that is on the calendar sits with Appointments rather than in the catalogue. The header carries a create button for the four things you add most, and Settings is grouped the same way.
Moving between pages draws a progress bar across the top of the window, in the business app and the pet owner app, including jumps made from the command palette.
Help links on billing and registration open a chat with the team, and a support email that links back into Petboost lands you on the right conversation.
Banner and avatar uploads open the crop tool the moment you pick a file, locked to the shape that slot needs, with a line of guidance on what fits. Crop once and the cropped image uploads in the same step.
Filter the day by whether a room, yard or run is empty, part full or full, so you can answer the phone knowing where there is room. A space with no capacity set is never counted as full, and the count comes off the whole day, so a search or a status chip cannot change it.
Mission Control gains Report Cards to Send and Report Cards Sent on the spotlight board. Tick the visits you want or take the lot, and one send goes out at a steady pace, each owner getting the link to the report card for their pet. A card that has gone moves across to Sent and stays there when you reload.
Roster grouping covers team members, resources and anything nobody is on yet. A booking that has both a person and a resource shows on both rows.
Take Pets or Photo Tiles off the Day and Week menus if your desk has no use for them. The last view you have left stays put.
See the day as session rows: one row per team member, resource and start time, with the pets on that session as named faces. Drag a regular timed booking onto another row to move it. Open Roster from the view switcher on Mission Control, on desktop and on the phone.
The payment collection card on Mission Control carries an explainer listing which appointment statuses count towards the expected revenue for the day or the week you have selected.
Export a date-ranged log book of mobile stops with booked and recorded times and the drive legs between them, as CSV or PDF, and see an estimated cents-per-kilometre claim in the same dialog. Trips Booster is a paid add-on.
Settings, Notifications carries Email assigned team members. Switch it on and whoever is assigned to a service line gets an email when that booking is created, updated or cancelled. It is an account-level switch, so it does not appear on individual services or courses.
Give a team member or a resource a colour of their own and the calendar paints their bookings with it while it is in that colour mode. Status and care colouring keep their own modes untouched. A resource can carry a photo as well, so a room, a yard or a van is recognisable at a glance.
Archiving a team member offers to move what they still hold to whoever is taking it: upcoming bookings, recurring series, unpaid past appointments, and add-ons that sit on bookings run by someone else. Move to a name and archive does both steps at once, and More migrate options is there when you want to choose a start date or leave some appointments where they are.
Email and phone sit on the team member row as badges you can copy with one tap.
Each weekday on a team member's roster now starts collapsed with its hours summarised on the card, so a full week fits on one screen. Copying a day or a weekday to other days opens in the same full-screen dialog used elsewhere in Petboost.
Select several services, packages, resources or team members and choose whether to archive them or remove them, in one dialog. Archive keeps every record and hides them from daily views. Delete takes them out. The dialog says which is which before you confirm and reports what happened to each one.
Activate Communications Booster, then complete the verification form in Settings, SMS with your legal business name, ABN, street address and one registration document. The card tracks where the review is up to. Reviews are usually decided within one to three business days, your Australian mobile number activates on approval, and Petboost emails the address on the form whichever way the review goes.
The intake form, Friday reminder, pre-authorisation, payment declined and business copy messages each sit in Settings, Notifications with a switch and a preview. Open the preview to read the exact email or text a customer receives, with your branding on it.
When a saved card is a month or a week from its printed expiry, and that owner still has a visit or a membership ahead of them, they get an email asking them to update it. You cannot switch that email off. Settings shows Email the customer: card expiry as a row that stays on. On Wallet, or on that day in Key Dates, Text card update sends them the same add-card link by SMS.
Settings, Notifications, Intake Forms now has Email you: intake form submitted. It starts on, so a client finishing an intake form still emails your business address. Turn it off if that inbox is already too loud. A form your team fills in never sends this email. Type intake form in the search box if you do not see the section.
Messages gains the housekeeping a busy inbox needs. Archive a conversation you have finished with, mark one unread so you come back to it, and hide the threads that are only automated reminders so the list holds real conversations. The thread you have open is in the address, so a refresh keeps you where you were and a customer profile can open straight into theirs.
Confirmation replies count for a full 48 hours after the appointment start time. If you send reminders several days ahead, a customer who answers in their own time on the morning of the booking is comfortably inside the window.
Retire a course template you have finished running, and unarchive it from the same place when you want it back. Courses already on the calendar carry on and keep their template. A template is held back only while a course from it is still to finish, and the dialog names those courses so you know what to close first. Turn on the archived filter on the template list to see what you have put away.
Correct a pass from the customer profile. Change how many credits are left on it, and switch it between one shared pool and credits held per service, without taking a payment or putting a refund through.
Give each service in a package its own credit count on Basic Info. Publishing waits until every service in the package has a quantity, and the warning before you publish names only the changes that move a balance a customer already holds.
Sell Package on a customer profile opens their Wallet with the purchase form already up, whichever tab you were on.
Moving an attendee to another course shows how each session maps across before you commit, and names the dates that clash. Choose the pet first and Petboost pairs the sessions by date.
Ask Grazi first, and when you have spoken to a person before, View past chats with the team sits under the answer and opens the whole history. The button only appears when you actually have one, so a first-time question is not cluttered by an empty inbox.
Ask Grazi for a person and a form opens in the chat. Pick how urgent it is, describe what is happening, and it reaches our team with the conversation attached.
